The principal idea behind Words Matter is to highlight the fact that most art-forms begin with the written word, a skill and talent that rarely gets priority focus in today's youth programs.

from Brian White & Keisha Whitaker:

If you're 12-22 years old, in school, live in Masachusetts, and
an aspiring writer, film maker, musician or choreographer who
would love the chance to get published or produce your creative
vision into a finished product, then read on!

Simply submit your "written" essay, screenplay, song lyrics or
dance video treatment. A panel of real celebrity and industry
judges will see your work and pick three winners in each category.
The winners will receive all the resources they need to turn their
words into real productions!

We hope you'll take a chance and help us illustrate why your
